The Bronte Village Residents Association (BVRA) will be holding their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday May 26, 7-9pm at Sovereign House located at 7 West River Street in Bronte Village.
All residents of Ward 1 are invited and welcome to learn about local issues. BVRA executives will be presenting a year in review, detailing ongoing concerns and outlining their work in the community. A special presentation will also be made by Fare Share food bank. Non-perishable food and monetary donations will be collected at the door.
Elections will also be held during the AGM. Nominations for the following board positions are being accepted:
- Recording Secretary
- Corporate Secretary
- Treasurer
- Membership Officer
- Website Officer
- Director-at-Large (2 positions)
Descriptions for vacant roles are posted here and the agenda for the evening is also available here. Nominations will be accepted by email prior to the event, or from the floor during the AGM. All nominees and voters must be members in good standing. Annual membership with the BVRA is $20 per household and new members are always welcome and may sign up at the door.
