This summer, Halton Region is inviting residents and visitors to share their favourite local summer activities in a new “Summer Wonderful” photo contest. Submit a photo with your favourite summer outdoor activity or location for a chance to win a $100 gift card from Burlington’s Mapleview Mall.
“Halton Region is a perfect spot to celebrate summer,” said Gary Carr, Regional Chair. “This summer, take in a festival, visit a farmers’ market or a downtown shopping area. Enjoy a treat at an outdoor café, visit a gallery, hike, bike, fish or swim. Enjoy all Halton has to offer!”

Halton Region’s contest will use popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest to share submissions. All photos will be judged by Halton Tourism staff on the basis of originality and seasonality.
Other prizes include admission for two to Harvest Halton: The Farm to Chef Experience Event @ Country Heritage Park in Milton, a $50 gift card to Williams Mill Art Gallery in Halton Hills and a Family Day Pass to Conservation Halton Parks.
