Between the Oakville Chamber Orchestra, the Oakville Symphony and Masterworks of Oakville, Oakville is rich with options for classical music lovers.
The Oakville Chamber Orchestra (OCO) starts its 36th year on October 5th. Accompanied by Yulai Buan on piano, and soprano Isabella Lecomte, the orchestra performs an evening of Beethoven’s dynamic and energetic music.
The Oakville Symphony’s “Scottish Fantasy” is the first of three unique concerts. The concert takes place on November 2nd and 3rd. The guest artist is Marc Djokic on Violin.
The 100 person choral group, Masterworks of Oakville announced one performance, but it is one that classical enthusiasts love: Handel’s Messiah on November 23rd. The Soloists are: Allison McAuley, soprano; Erica Iris Huang, mezzo-soprano; Christopher Fischer, tenor and Joel Allison, bass.
