The Downtown Cultural Hub team presented three options for the placement of cultural facilities in the downtown core at the June 24 public meeting.
The options include two renovated models and one new build. These options and costs are now available for your review and comment and will remain online throughout the summer.
Staff will review comments received before taking a recommendation to Council this fall.

Here are the Culture Hub Options:
Option 1 - Renovate
Modest Renovation
This option represents retention and modernization of the current facilities on the Centennial Square site.

This option considers significant enhancements and additions to the facilities currently offered on the Centennial Square site.

Option 3
This option suggests a dispersed cultural hub model. The Centennial Square site is redeveloped to include a new theatre, while the library and Oakville Galleries are moved to the former post office site.
