Easter Eggstravaganza in Bronte

Easter Bunny | Bronte BIA
Easter Bunny | Bronte BIA

The Easter Bunny is hopping into Bronte Village this Easter Saturday, April 19 between 11 and 5pm.

Follow the Bunny and hippity hop along the trail of pink balloons displayed outside at over 30 Bronte business members of the Bronte BIA.

Bring your Easter basket and enter the businesses to pick up your easter treats, a map of the Bronte Bunny Trail and a ballot to win a gorgeous Easter basket sponsored by Bronte’s Denninger’s Foods of the World, now on display at Trias Gallery, 11 Bronte Rd.

Families can participate in two ways:

Bike Ride: At 11am, the Easter Bunny will be arriving at the Gazebo in Heritage Waterfront Park to greet those wishing to be part of a Cycle Oakville ‘Kidical Mass’ Family Easter Ride escorted by Ward 2 Councillor Pam Damoff, who will be leading a fun ride around the Bronte area and in and out of the Bronte participating stores. Also joining Councillor Damoff at the gazebo are BIA Executive Director Ann Sargent and Ward 1 Councillor Ralph Robinson who will kick off the fun day.

Self-Guided: If you want to ‘do your own thing’ and start at your own time, you can drop into any ‘pink balloon store’, pick up your Easter goodies, get your map and a ballot to win the scrumptious Easter basket.

Some of the stores are featuring special discounts and offering special activities such as colouring fun, so plan to relax and enjoy. Make sure that the store owner initials your map to show that you’ve been into that location. Just remember to deposit your ballot at Trias Gallery at the end of your trail.  The Easter Bunny will be making his way in and out of all stores throughout the day so bring your camera for some great shots of the kids.
