Oakville Weather

Another mixed bag of weather is in store for us today. We start of with sunshine, and clouds at 18, by this afternoon the chance of rain with thunderstorms rises up to 60 percent with the hitting plus 25, and then overnight the temperature will drop down to plus 18 with a 40 percent chance of showers. The humidity is still around adding 7 degrees to the way it feels. The wind will be coming out of the Southwest until this evening, when changes slightly so that it comes out of the west at 5 km/h. All in all a fairly easy day for the Civic Holiday.

  • Air quality is good
  • UV index is high
  • Pollen count is moderate
  • Sunset: 8:37 PM

Oakville Beach Report

  • Bronte Beach is unsafe for swimming
  • Coronation Park East is unsafe for swimming
  • Coronation Park West is safe for swimming

Water was sampled on Thursday July 31, 2014.

A note about the results

  • Water quality conditions reflect E. coli counts on the date of water sample collection.
  • Beach water quality can change day-to-day, even hour-to-hour following a heavy rainfall or high wave activity.
  • Read the signs posted on the beach before going in the water and avoid swimming if the water is cloudy (you cannot see your feet when standing at waist depth of an adult).
