When we think about the first weekend in December rarely do we think of the weather being sunshine and highs at plus 8. Well, according to Environment Canada, that is the weather prediction for this weekend in Oakville. Christmas events play a big part in this weekend's activities from the Oakville School of Ballet's rendition of The Nutcracker to a number of Christmas Bazaars.
However, the evening of December 6th marks the first night of Hanukkah for the Jewish community. So we wish our Oakville readers who are Jewish a Happy Hanukkah!
