Approximately two-dozen teachers will showcase their artwork during a five-week art show at the Oakville Town Hall (1225 Trafalgar Rd.) from April 25 until May 27, 2016. It’s free for visitors to attend during Town Hall opening hours. More than 50 pieces will be in the show, displaying a wide variety of mediums, subject matter and styles.

Hosted by ArtWorks Oakville, a private opening reception will take place on May 5 beginning at 6:30   where people can meet with the teacher artists who are usually busy teaching students the skills of making art. Some of the works will be available for purchase. ArtWorks is an incorporated, non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to promoting and showcasing visual artists at several public spaces in Oakville.
