Are you a budding environmentalist wondering how you can make a difference?

Join Oakvillegreen on Monday, March 30th, 2015 at 6:30pm to hear the former Chair of World Wildlife Fund - Canada (WWF- Canada), Roger Dickhout, speak about his personal journey as an environmental volunteer. There will be a short AGM for Oakvillegreen before this talk and Q&A to follow.

Mr. Dickhout has had a long, distinguished career in his business and volunteer life. After many years as a global strategy consultant for McKinsey & Company Inc., Roger became President of Canada Bread. Since then, he moved on to form Pineridge Group in 2004, where he has run many well known consumer brands including Liberte Yogurt, Lavo cleaning products and Pineridge Bakeries as the President and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Dickhout has used his leadership skills to make a difference for a major environmental organization. Roger was on the board of the WWF-Canada for eight years, the last four as Chair ending in the fall of 2014. He is also on the board of advisors for Investeco (an environmental investment fund) and Recochem Inc. Growing up in Sudbury, Roger gained his love of nature exploring the French River.

Oakvillegreen's AGM will be held at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre in Multipurpose Room 1, located at 2302 Bridge Rd, Oakville, ON L6L 3L5

Refreshments will be served and people wishing to attend are asked to RSVP.
