Come one come all this Friday as Downtown Oakville comes alive with Midnight Madness, the festival that has "something for everyone." From food stands, live music, specialty stores, kid zones and various other attractions, make sure to come out and celebrate!

This year, the festival looks to engage guests with a tremendous array of attractions to make Midnight Madness a splendid delight! Those looking to attend should take note that there will be a free shuttle bus from the Oakville Go Station. To that end, despite the construction taking place in the area, the organizers want guests to rest easy knowing that there will be plenty of activities going on in the side streets.
"Midnight Madness is one of the greatest events in Downtown Oakville," says a spokesperson from Coriander Green, one of the restaurants taking part in the festival. "We have been participating for the last 15 years and this event really brings the community together and supports downtown Oakville businesses. Despite the reconstruction of Lakeshore Road E, we are here to keep the same spirit, the same hope, and the same support that has made this event a success! Dave Despin, owner of Tribeca Coffee Co. a cafe that's taking part in the festival commented on his excitement for the event. "This is our fourth year that we will be taking part and we always look forward to it. This year, the construction is new but we're looking forward to meeting the crowds that are going to bring the energy! We're out here past regular office hours so come on out!"

Midnight Madness is celebrating 42 years of community fun!
