The results for the 2013 National Wine Awards of Canada (NWAC) were announced by WineAlign this week. Mission Hill Family Estate Winery in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia won several medals and was named "Winery of the Year."

September is California Wine Month. Many events and tastings will take place throughout the month in this Golden State.
On Saturday, September 21st, the annual "Fallstock" harvest party by the vineyard is taking place at Calamus Estate Winery from 12:00pm to 5:00pm with free musical entertainment, and of course wine and food for purchase!
After a summer break, the Oakville Wine Enthusiasts Club is returning to monthly wine tastings this month on Friday, September 27th with Reif Estate Winery as presenter.
