Oakville is showcasing its love of culture by inviting residents to take part in activities that explore music, dance, visual arts and theatre as part of a nation-wide celebration of Culture Days taking place on Saturday, September 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre (QEPCCC).
“Culture Days is a great opportunity for residents to learn about and celebrate the diverse community we have in Oakville,” said Mayor Rob Burton. “I encourage everyone to attend and share in the cultural celebration.”
This year’s lineup includes the following highlights: Maderaz Interactive Latin Music Show, Theatresports presented by the Oakville Improv Theatre Company, Interactive Knitting with the Oakville Association of Knitters and Crocheters, Dance for Couples, Culture Days Ceramics Family Drop-in, Story Time with the Oakville Public Library, Early Childhood Music Class with the Oakville Suzuki Association, and caricature portraits with Cartoon Bob.
