The Town of Oakville will be offering seven days of free and fun events for youth aged 11 to 19 as part of the National Youth Week celebrations from May 1 to 7 at locations across Oakville.
“Youth Week events showcase the many activities available for young people in Oakville,” said Mayor Rob Burton. “The town offers a wide variety of facilities and parks for young residents to enjoy sports, art and cultural events, or just have fun with friends. Our great youth programming is a big part of what makes Oakville so livable.”
A Youth Week passport and event schedule can be picked up at any Oakville youth centre or community centre. Youth are encouraged to attend as many events as possible and collect at least five stamps on their passport for a chance to win a $300 gift card. Additional prizes will be awarded at selected events.
