For the first time, The Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts is pleased to announce the entire performance line up in the spring! This robust group of eclectic performances will take place in the newly re-named Willson Auditorium Limited (excluding Studio Sessions) thanks to the generous sponsorship of Willson International Limited.

The new line-up includes a wide array of shows from internationally renowned performers to local up and coming artists. Performers include: Howie Mandel, Bruce Cockburn, 54-40 Unplugged, The Trews – Acoustic, Steve Hackett, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Live, The Cat in the Hat, Charlotte’s Web, The Devin Cuddy Band, Jesse Cook, and The Wailers. Plus new this year, In Conversation With, a speaker’s series featuring David Suzuki, Lawrence Hill and Bob McDonald. In the past, The Oakville Centre has launched their upcoming season in two parts – Spring and Fall. This year, for the first time, we are announcing Oakville Centre’s complete performance line-up for the upcoming 2015-2016 season in the Spring.

“This year, we’ve changed up our approach and are announcing our entire season now to make things easier for our patrons as they plan their year, and assist them in their ticket purchasing decisions” said Robin Howarth, Manager, Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts. “I am very pleased to announce this eclectic group of performers that make up the 2015-2016 season – one of the best seasons yet! Residents don’t have to leave town to experience internationally celebrated performers, comedians and for the first time, authors in our new In Conversation With speakers series.”

Tickets go on sale to the public at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 1015.

What’s new this season

  1. In Conversation With: New this season, In Conversation With is a speaker series that will feed the inquisitive mind. It provides a unique opportunity for you to hear, ask questions and meet three of this country’s top influencers and authors.
  2. Studio Sessions: In this new series, enjoy some of today’s finest emerging artists in our intimate 120 seat Studio Theatre.
  3. Willson Auditorium: Thanks to the support of a new sponsor, the auditorium that holds our main stage has been re-named the Willson Auditorium.
  4. Family Series sponsored in association with Whole Foods Market: Thanks to the generous in- kind sponsorship of Whole Foods Market, each child leaving an Oakville Family Series performance will receive a healthy snack.
