Juno nominated Don Amero captivates audiences of all ages with powerful and expressive vocals, percussion style, guitar play and engaging storytelling. Don’t miss this inspiring musician when he plays the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 8:30 p.m.

Don’s musical style has been likened to John‐Mayer‐meets‐Keith‐Urban. His five albums (Heart On My Sleeve, The Long Way Home, Deepening, Change Your Life, Christmastime) have generated nine national/international awards, and more than two dozen nominations, including the 2013 JUNO Awards. He is often called upon as a keynote speaker, and to deliver workshops for youth. His story inspires, and his message is one of encouragement, positivity and beauty.

From the notoriously tough North End of Winnipeg, Don faced his share of adversity growing up. With poverty, gangs, drugs and violence all around, fortunately, his life was tempered by love, support, and faith in a Greater Power. Shaped and molded by his own experiences, Don’s music now carries both the depth of hardship and luminosity of hope. For all who take the time to listen, his message is one of encouragement, positivity and beauty, despite the harshness of the world.

Tickets for this event are still available at the Oakville Centre Box Office or on line at OakvilleCentre.ca
