Oakville Chamber of Commerce Hosting Federal Candidates Debate on October 6th

The Oakville Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with TVCOGECO, The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board, and Glen Abbey United Church will be hosting a Federal Candidates Debate for the Oakville and Oakville North-Burlington electoral districts on Tuesday, October 6th. This event is open to the public, Chamber Members and Members of our partnering organizations.

"The Federal Candidates Debate is an opportunity for members of the Oakville community to engage with the candidates, the possible future decision makers for our community and businesses," said Kerry Colborne, Chair of Oakville Chamber of Commerce. "We are pleased to be able to come together with our partners in a non-partisan forum to provide Oakville voters with the opportunity to hear comments directly from the candidates on issues that will affect our community."

The Federal Candidates Debate will take place at Glen Abbey United Church, which has the capacity to seat an audience of up to 500. The debate will be televised live by TVCOGECO.

The Chamber will solicit questions from its members, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, and the general public. In addition, we are inviting members of the public to submit questions for the candidates via e-mail at [email protected]; or fax at 905-845-6475.
