The holiday spirit continues in Oakville this weekend as Santa arrives in Kerr Village for the Christmas Tree lighting on Friday, followed by his first appearance for official photographs at Oakville Place on Saturday. There are also wagon rides in Downtown Oakville.
This is also the season of lights, and this is especially true in Oakville. As we approach Christmas Day, families across the town are stringing their homes with lights. We'll be providing you with a list of the best lighting displays for the season a little later on this month, so if you see a particularly well decorated home, please let us know.
This weekend also kicks off the show season at Theatre Sheridan, which starts off with Shrek: The Musical. Tickets are always in high demand so don't take too long. You'll also want to think about the great productions being offered at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts this holiday season.
Finally, on Sunday we just might get our first snow, but we'll have to see what Mother Nature has in store.
