Oakville's Canada Day celebrations and fireworks takes place in Bronte Village with a wide variety of festivities including: Children's activities, Food Truck, Live Entertainment, and Spectacular Fireworks.

The party gets started at 11:00 AM on July 1, 2014. This is an annual event which often attracts over 50,000 people. Public parking in Bronte Village is very limited, and many of the streets will shut down for pedestrian traffic.

However, the Bronte Village BIA has made arranges to make your ability to enjoy the day with the least amount of hassle. For those needing to park a car, the event parking is available at the RIOCAN Centre by Longos at Wyecroft & Burloak. There you can catch a shuttle to Bronte and back to your car every few minutes. There is also ample place to safely park your bike, should you decide to cycle with a Bike Corral.

Fireworks start at 10:00 PM.

Most restaurants will be open for Canada Day. Downtown Oakville is designated as a tourist destination by the province so some shops will remain open, along with restaurants, patios, and cafes. Oakville Place will be closed. Oakville's YMCA will be open.
