Nova Dance’s Decoding Bharatnatyam is an enchanting evening of dance delightfully defining and decoding the classical form with uniquely Canadian flair. Fluttering with discovery while anchored in movement tradition, four stunning dancers perform works by Nova Bhattacharya and José Navas, rich with powerful physical technique, storytelling and humour.

Sean Cullen (Comedy)

Expect the unexpected with Seán Cullen, a nimble master of improvisation and accomplished impressionist who delights in the absurd. For two and a half decades, Cullen has dominated the Canadian comedy scene as an award-winning comedian, actor, author and screenwriter. Seán is a series regular and star panelist on Match Game, and has guest starred or appeared in Spun Out, Murdoch Mysteries and was featured on the Just For Laughs: All Access, The Halifax Comedy Festival and The Winnipeg Comedy Festival television specials.

Max Weinberg's Jukebox (Music)

Tuesday, October 22nd at 8 p.m.

A truly interactive experience with the drummer of Bruce Springsteen’s E St. Band! Max Weinberg invites the audience to create the set list, in real time, that he and his crack four piece group will play. Performing songs from the glory days of rock and roll, the audience chooses from a video menu of over 200 songs – everything from the Beatles to the Stones to Bruce and The E Street Band’s biggest hits – and hear the group play ‘em the way they want to hear them played!

Rush to Danger: Medics in the Line of Fire All

Noted military historian Ted Barris explores his father’s wartime experiences as a medic leading up to the Battle of the Bulge in 1944- 45, and weaves into his narrative stories about the life-and-death struggles of military medical personnel during a century of service. Barris’s sources reveal – like never before – why men and women sporting the red cross on their helmets or sleeves didn’t flee to safety but chose instead to rush to assist.
