This year's Oakville Santa Claus Parade is on Saturday, November 16, 2019, beginning at 9 a.m. The route begins in Downtown Oakville at Lakeshore Road East and Reynolds Avenue.

The 2019 theme is: "Things we do at Christmas time".

This is a rain or shine event coordinated in association with the Town of Oakville.

Getting to the parade via Santa Shuttle

Avoid parking hassles and take the FREE Oakville Transit shuttle. Park your car at the Oakville GO Station and board the Santa Shuttle to the parade. The Santa Shuttle runs every five minutes from 8 to 11:30 a.m. between the Oakville GO and the Church/Dunn bus terminal.

Please note that for safety reasons, children must be removed from strollers and/or wagons while on the bus. Strollers must be folded and wagons placed in an upright position.

Getting to the parade via Oakville Transit

Visit the Oakville Transit website for information on getting to Downtown Oakville and Kerr Street using regular transit routes.

All regular fares apply.

Parade map and road closures

Road closures are as follows, from 7-11 a.m.

  1. Lakeshore Road from Allan Street to Brant Street
  2. Kerr Street from Lakeshore Road to Stewart Street
  3. Stewart Street from Kerr Street to Maurice Drive
  4. Felan Avenue from Stewart Street to Rebecca Street
  5. Rebecca Street from Dorval Drive to Forsythe Street
  6. Robinson Street from Navy Street to Allan Street
  7. Reynolds Street from Robinson Street to Church Street

The co-operation of all motorists is requested.

Parking during the Road Closure:

For residents wanting temporary on-street parking during the road closure and posted parking prohibitions, please refer the map to find parking on a street that is not impacted by the parade. If parking is needed overnight, please go online to Parking's website to obtain a permit to park on a street that is not impacted by the parade. Please ensure the vehicle is not parked in any prohibited area.
