A Significant Snowfall adds to Family Day Activities

Family Day is here. It is packed with fun activities for the entire family, whether you are 2 or 92. The majority of events are co-ordinated by the town.

The weather forecast as of 3:00 PM today looks promising. Environment Canada re-issued their weather warning at 1:50 PM on Sunday, February 17th for today and tomorrow.

From this morning it altered.

Now snowfall begins mid-evening and ends early Monday morning. During this window 8 cm of snow falls.

The likelihood of precipitation is 80 to 90 per cent. It increased from 70 per cent.

The snowfall  ends early Sunday morning as the wind changes from North-East to North. It remains chilly. Shovelling will be quick and easy, since the snow should be airy.

The sun pops out by mid-afternoon.
