This exhibition presents an overview of first, second and third year students’ work from the Crafts and Design Program – Textiles and highlights the diversity of objects using a variety of dye and print processes, felting, embroidery, surface design, and digitally printed designs.
Rachel Millar is Textiles Studio Head. Rachel has taught fibres, textile design and sustainable design to undergrad and graduate students as well as industry professionals at several American colleges. She most recently taught in the fashion department at the Pratt Institute and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York city, where her curriculum is based on learning materials, techniques and sustainable design methods.
