P.A. Day Camps

Looking for something fun to do on your day off school? Our wide range of programs help children reach their full potential, learn how to live an active lifestyle, build self-confidence and make new friends along the way.

Programs are offered on Halton District School Board P.A. Days. See specific program descriptions below and click on a link for details. Registration began Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 9 a.m.

P.A. Day Frequent Flyers

Joins us at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex and we'll be your personal tour guides to fun! The Frequent Flyers (ages 6-12) travel off-site to the coolest local sites. Trips begin at 9 a.m. and end by 4 p.m. Drop off as early as 7:30 a.m. and pick up as late at 6 p.m., all for one low fee. This program is offered October 11, 2013.

P.A. Day programs for youth

New this year! Bronte Youth Centre (BYC) and Oakville Youth Centre (OYC) are offering you the chance to get out, have fun, and see some sights.

P.A. Day Adventures

Start off at Bronte Youth Centre, then hit the road for more fun and adventure! Different activities are planned for each day:

  • Join us for Clifton Hill Adventures, October 11, 2013, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. We'll spend the day in Niagara Falls taking in the sights and attractions. Lunch will also be provided. Ages 13-19.

Youth Centre Experience

Just want to chill with some friends? Enjoy the Youth Centre Experience at Oakville Youth Centre. For a small fee, you'll get access to the pool table, air hockey, video games, foosball, internet, art adventures, and more! Drop-in with your friends, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and check us out. This program is offered October 11, 2013.

Specialty P.A. Day programs

Learn something new on your day off school! The staff of SOS-Safety on Site will teach you everything you need to know about babysitting and safety in the home.

Babysitter Training (c)

Gain first-hand knowledge of caring for infants and children in the Red Cross Babysitter Training Course. Babysitter Training (c) is a one-day program (9 a.m.-4 p.m.) offered at QEPCCC on October 11, 2013 Ages 11-14.

Home Alone

Empower children with confidence and skills to care for themselves when home alone. Taught by staff of SOS-Safety on Site, this course includes Red Cross PeopleSavers Level 4, internet safety, how to handle real-life situations and other strategies. Home Alone is a one-day program (9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.) offered at QEPCCC on October 11, 2013. Ages 9-12.
