Today in Oakville: January 30, 2013

ThunderstormWeather

Warm is an unusual way to describe anywhere in Canada at the end of January - but warm is what it is. Today's high will be plus 14 with thunderstorms. However, by late this evening the temperature is going to plummet to minus 1. The 20 km/h wind changes direction from  south to west strengthening to 45 km/h. So you  have an opportunity to put on that new spring jacket you received over the holidays. The sun rose at 7:36 AM and sets at 5:27 PM. Enjoy this brief interlude of spring.

Quote of the Day

"Know the true value of time; snatch, seize, and enjoy every moment of it. No idleness, no laziness, no procrastination: never put off till tomorrow what you can do today." - Lord Chesterfield
