Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre is hosting it's first Winterfest celebration on Sunday,February 16th from 1:00-5:00pm. This fundraising event will have an old-fashioned theme with indoor and outdoor activities at a 52-acre heritage property in Oakville.
Guests of all ages are invited for ice-skating on the pond, games and prizes in the snow, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, and more. Indoor activities include live musical entertainment, arts and crafts, traditional games and prizes, henna tattoos, a silent auction and a bake sale.
The event costs $10 for adults and $5 for children. Funds raised from this event will help support and sustain the Centre and its numerous members from the community. More than a dozen stores and organizations are supporting this event by providing food, supplies and services.
