Zombie Escape at the Y

Two Teenagers made up like Zombies | YMCA Oakville

The YMCA is the last safe haven for teens in the Zombie Apocalypse of 2014. Survivors are able to roam freely until an unexpected breach of security happens. What ensues is a take-over from the zombies. Survivors must run and hide in the YMCA — and not get caught!

Teens (13-19 years) are challenged to survive or become a zombie attacker in this fun, but heart-pounding fundraiser for the YMCA Strong Kids campaign. The Zombie Escape will take place after hours on Saturday, October 25 from 7:00-11:00 p.m.

Teens can choose to participate as a zombie or as a survivor. Advance fee is $10 for survivors and $15 for zombies and includes game play, hot dog and drink, and makeup for the zombies (provided by Sheridan College arts students). Register online or at the Peter Gilgan Family Y at 410 Rebecca Street. The at-the-door cost is $15 for survivors and $20 for zombies.

The Zombie Escape was designed by youth staff. All proceeds will go to the YMCA Strong Kids campaign which provides children, youth and families in need with financial assistance to access YMCA programs.
