Oakville Soccer Club Announces the Appointment of Rafael Carbajal as Interim Technical Director Oakville, ON - The Oakville Soccer Club is pleased to announce that Rafael Carbajal has been appointed Technical Director of the Club on an interim basis. The appointment, effective October 5th, will see Carbajal lead the OSC's Technical Department as it prepares for the Club's 2013 Fall season. Carbajal succeeds former Technical Director Dino Lopez who resigned from the club to pursue opportunities within the private sector.
Carbajal has served as the Oakville Soccer Club's Coach Development Manager since 2011 where he was responsible for the overall development of Rep coaches including mentoring and assessments each season.
Carbajal's move brings a significant resume to the Technical Director position, boasting UEFA 'A', UEFA 'B', USSF 'A' and CSA 'A" licences. Along with his coaching experience in Europe, Rafael has been Assistant Coach and Goalkeeper Coach with the National Team programs.

As part of the restructure of the Oakville Soccer Club's Technical Department, the club is also pleased to announce the promotion of Chris Grierson to Assistant Technical Director - House League Programs and Ian Sinclair as Assistant Technical Director - Rep Programs.
Both Grierson, who enters his seventh year with the club and Sinclair entering his fourth, will assist Carbajal in the day to day operation of the Technical Department including, scouting, coach evaluations and the development of new programs for the Club.
