The Stu Sells Series started seven years ago at the Toronto High Park Curling Club, when Stuart Sankey wanted to bring top curlers to Toronto to compete in an Olympic qualifying event which would allow the public to watch and take part in four days of curling right at home. Since the Stu Sells Toronto Tankard grew in size Stuart slowly expand the series to the Oakville area. Four years later the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard has attracted the same caliber of curlers, as his Toronto Tankard, allowing for the Oakville community and surrounding areas to watch firsthand the best curlers in the world. After the success of both tankards Stuart was approached to expand the series even further to younger up-and-coming curlers, from that came the Stu Sells Junior Tankard. The Stu Sells Junior Tankard fills up instantly and one of the prizes for the champions is a one-on-one training session with one of the top curlers.

The five events are head all over the GTA and have become a monumental series in the curling world. Stu Sells Oakville Tankard will take from September 8th to 11th, 2016 at the Oakville Curling Club, 224 Allan Street.
