The Oakville Soccer Club is proud to announce that eight players from the Club's OPDL program have been named to the rosters of Ontario Soccer Provincial Teams.

These U14 and U16 OPDL players have been selected by Ontario Soccer based on their performance during the 2019 Provincial Program Screenings.

Founded in 2014, the OPDL is Ontario's standards-based high performance league. It combines top level competition with strict high performance training standards with the goals of developing the top soccer talent within the province.

These newly selected squads will play their first games as Team Ontario at the Inter-Provincial Competition from April 26-28 at the Centre Sportif Rosanne-Laflamme in Saint-Hubert, Quebec.

OSC's Executive Director Dave Harris said of the player selections: “On behalf of the Oakville Soccer Club I am pleased to congratulate the eight members of our Club who have made their respective Provincial teams.  This is a significant achievement for these players who have worked so hard and represented the organization so well.  We wish all of our players the best of luck as they prepare to meet the teams from Quebec.”
