If you are looking to improve your bike maintenance skills, learn share the road riding tips, and network with fellow cyclists, Cycle Oakville’s bike clinics are for you! Cycle Oakville and Racer Sportif have teamed up to offer cyclists free bike clinics on April 30 at 6 pm and May 3 at 5:30 pm. Racer Sportif, located at 151 Robinson Street, has graciously offered to host these one hour free clinics at their shop.

Cycle Oakville is dedicated to making our community as bicycle friendly as possible. In order to achieve this goal, cyclists must be equipped with the necessary information in order to feel confident on the road. Each clinic will focus on rider safety including bike lights, hand signals, and changing flats. Participants will also discuss rider comfort, clothing, and proper hydration. These clinics are the perfect opportunity to talk with cycling enthusiasts and ask questions.

We are often asked about simple bike repairs and safety, and Racer Sportif in downtown Oakville stepped up to partner on these clinics. This is one more way we can give Oakville residents the tools they need to be comfortable riding around Town.

Spots are limited to 20 people per clinic. Participants can ride their bikes to the store, but for space reasons will not be required to have their own bike in the clinic itself. If you are unable to make the upcoming dates, check in with Cycle Oakville for future clinics in June and July!

Each clinic will have door prizes, including a free basic bike tune-up at the Racer Sportif Oakville location.
