Greg Allen Joins QMJHL's Victoriaville Tigres

The QMJHL's Victoriaville Tigres have signed Oakville Blades defenseman Greg Allen.

Allen, a 17 year old blue liner currently playing in his second OJHL season, was drafted 115th overall by Erie Otters in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection. Following two years with the Toronto Marlboros Minor Midget club, Allen committed to the Jr. A St. Michael's Buzzers, claiming the league championship following a five point effort in 25 contests.

Considered to be a big, strong shutdown defenseman, Allen has played in 17 games with the Blades this season, recording four goals and eight points while patrolling the young Oakville blue line. In the past three OJHL matches he has competed in, Campbell recorded two goals and two assists, including the game winning marker against the Kingston Voyageurs.

The Blades are in action this Friday when they take on the Mississauga Chargers at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex at 7:30pm. Hope to see you there!
