The Oakville Blades are pleased to announce that forwards Josh Kosack and Tyler Rollo have both officially been named to Team Canada East for the World Junior A Challenge.

Kosack, 18, has set the OJHL by storm this year, currently sitting tied with fellow Oakville Blade Patrick Kudla for fourth in scoring with 40 points. Just last week, Kosack announced his commitment to top NCAA school Union College. Due to his tremendous scoring prowess and his ability to play effectively in any situation coach Mike Tarantino throws in, "his success isn't something he just recently stumbled upon. Kosack had a strong rookie season in the OJHL last year by putting up 36 points in 42 games."

Rollo, 18, is currently in his second year with the Blades, sitting at 31 points in just 24 games to make himself one of the top scoring players on the team. A draft pick of the OHL's Barrie Colts, Rollo has seen some success with the likes of Drew Worrad and Christian Rajic. In the first-half of the season, he has helped make Oakville one of the most dangerous offensive teams in the league. Last month, Rollo had three points in three games at the Eastern Canada Cup Challenge in Cornwall, Ontario, putting on top of all Blades players at the tournament.

Canada East will play in Group A with Russia and Switzerland at the Iroquois Park Sports Centre in Whitby, Ontario, starting with a 5pm EST meeting with the Swiss on December 13th.
