United Way Oakville is selling three exclusive spots to Tac 4 A Day, a once in a lifetime

opportunity for local civilians to get a taste of what it’s like to be part of a Tactical Rescue Unit.

There are two sessions available—October 7th and October 23rd—and a limited number of participants per session, Tac 4 A Day offers a hands-on, small-group experience, where participants may have the opportunity to rappel down buildings, learn how to operate firearms used by tactical rescue units and respond to a hostage crisis, among other activities.

“We’re thrilled to partner with the Halton Regional Police and offer such a unique event,” said Brad Park, CEO of United Way Oakville. “It’s an unprecedented opportunity for any philanthropic thrill seeker.”

Participants must be at least 18 years old, sign a waiver, and are subject to a positive police background inquiry.

Cost: $750.00 per ticket and are tax-deductible. All proceeds will go to United Way Oakville’s 2014 Campaign.

Registration: Visit uwoakville.org for more information.
