It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dad, Nick.

A devoted husband to the late Miriam, a loving father to Liza (Dorian), David (Marcie), Anthony (Jackie), Michael (Linda) and Phyllis (the late Brent), a proud and doting grandfather to Nathan, Erica, Rachel, William, Abby, Molly, Liam, Lee-Anna, Madaline and Andrés. He will be missed by his sister Joanna, his mother-in-law Vivian, his sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, as well as his many nieces and nephews.

Dad was born to Sophia and David in Timmins, Ontario. He spent his childhood years in Timmins until his mom moved the family to Oakville. Growing up in Oakville, he attended Oakville Trafalgar High School and Blakelock. Dad was always fascinated with sales and after graduating high school took a position with the Oakville Beaver Newspaper selling ads. As fate would have it, mom was also working at the Beaver and the next chapter of Dad's life was written. Dad enjoyed the sales position but had bigger aspirations. He studied Real Estate and obtained his Brokers License. After several years of working with different Real Estate companies in Oakville, he opened his own office which operated from 1972, well into his retirement years. Dad was a caring and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed taking his family camping in our tent trailer and on exciting road trips. He adored his 10 grandkids and was always available to attend their sports events or performances. Dad was there whenever you needed him, he was always sociable and looked forward to visiting. He was a master at conversation and was always ready to offer his advice. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville from 5-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Andrew Church, Oakville, on Thursday, July 4th, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Burial at Greenwood cemetery to follow. Online condolences may be offered at oakviewfuneral.ca
