EVANS, Arthur Thomas

We are saddened to announce the passing of Arthur Thomas Evans on August 31, 2024, at the age of 93.  After an adventurous life of running his own business, canoeing, enjoying the outdoors and being a family man, Art passed away peacefully at AgeCare West Williams LTC in Kitchener.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Marion.  Art was a loving father to Paul (Dora), and Linda (Steve).  He was adored by his grandkids Ashley (Nelson), Brittany, Christine (Petar), Nicole and Eric.  Art also had two wonderful great-grandkids, Sofia and Ben.  Art was the son of Thomas and Marjorie Evans, and had two siblings, Betty, and Jack of late.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.  The funeral will take place at Oakview Funeral Home (56 Lakeshore Rd West, Oakville, Ontario) on Thursday, September 5, 2024.  Visitation with the family will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
