The Halton Regional Police Services have arrested a 19 year-old man from Hamilton, Ontario in connection with an overnight break and enter spree enter that took place in the Town of Oakville, in early August 2018, in College Park.

On Thursday, August 2, 2018 police responded to the area of Osborne Crescent (just west of the Oakville Golf Club) where they found that five homes had been entered and two vehicles had been stolen. Police recovered the vehicles shortly after arriving on scene.

On Thursday, October 18, 2018 the Halton Regional Police Service arrested one male suspect in connection with these break-ins.

The 19 year-old suspect is facing the following charges:

  1. Break and Enter (five counts)
  2. Theft of Motor Vehicle (two counts)
  3. Trespassing at night (two counts)

The suspect was held in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for October 19, 2018, in Milton.

Police are reminding the public to make sure their vehicles and homes (including garages) are secured at all times.
