69-year-old man from Oakville arrested after driving into restaurant

While temporary repairs are being made to the Burger King's windows and outer layers, a full structural integrity inspection will be conducted, as a result of the collision, police say.

A single-vehicle crash outside a Burger King in Oakville has led to impaired driving charges for a local man.

Halton Police responded to the incident at approximately 4:35 p.m. on March 7, 2025, at the Burger King located on Marlborough Court.

Police say the vehicle collided with the restaurant's exterior, "causing heavy damange to the building." No injuries were reported.

While temporary repairs are being made to the restaurant's windows and outer layers, a full structural integrity inspection will be conducted, according to police.

As a result of the investigation, a 69-year-old man from Oakville has been charged with Operation While Impaired.
