Burlington man charged with voyeurism

Police say the accused was recording two female youths without their knowledge while they were at the Mapleview Mall

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made an arrest and laid multiple charges in relation to a voyeurism investigation in Burlington.

On Oct. 28, 2024, the HRPS received a report of an adult male who was recording two female youths while they were present in the food court of the Mapleview Mall. The victims were not aware they were being recorded.

Carriage of the investigation was taken over by members of the Three District Criminal Investigations Bureau and a suspect was identified.

On Nov. 19, 2024, Kenneth Adam (58) of Burlington was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Voyeurism (two counts)
  • Criminal Harassment (two counts)

Adam was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Adam has been operating as a private math tutor and special education consultant within the Region of Halton and Investigators believe there may be additional victims. A photo of the accused has been attached to this media release.
