Four arrested in Oakville after Mississauga home invasion targeting luxury cars

Police have now released further details and the identities of the accused.

Peel Police have arrested four individuals, including a 17-year-old, following an early morning home invasion in Mississauga earlier this month where luxury vehicles were stolen, later recovered in Oakville after a foot pursuit.

Police have now released further details and the identities of the accused.

On Oct. 2, 2024, at approximately 5 a.m. police say multiple suspects forced entry into a home near Ninth Line and Tacc Drive in Mississauga while the residents were sleeping.

Once inside, the suspects are alleged to have demanded the keys to two luxury vehicles parked in the driveway.  

Fearing for their safety, police say the victims turned over the keys and the suspects drove away.

None of the victims involved sustained any physical injuries.

Following a quick response by officers and the coordination between patrol, investigators, Tactical Unit, and K9, the suspects were located a short distance away in Oakville.  

Following a foot pursuit all four suspects were arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Jordan Tower, an 18-year-old man from Mississauga has been charged with: 

  • Robbery
  • Disguise with Intent
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
  • Possession of Break-in Instruments
  • Failing to Comply with Release Order

Jelani Griffith, a 20-year-old male from Brampton has been charged with: 

  • Robbery
  • Disguise with Intent
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
  • Possession of Break-in Instruments

Jordan Stanley, a 20-year-old man from Burlington has been charged with:

  • Possession of Stolen Property.

A 17-year-old male youth from Brampton has been charged with:

  • Robbery
  • Disguise with Intent
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
  • Possession of Break-in Instruments 

Police say both vehicles were recovered along with a third vehicle that was stolen during a separate carjacking in Toronto on Sept. 26, 2024.

This investigation remains ongoing, and police anticipate more charges could be laid.
