Man held at gunpoint during Milton home invasion

A Milton homeowner faced a frightening break-in Sunday (Jan. 12).

Halton police report the man was held at gunpoint during a home invasion in the area of Walnut Landing and Proud Drive, with three suspects entering after the front door was forced open.

They stole various jewelry and clothing before fleeing in a grey four-door hatchback driven by a fourth suspect.

No physical injuries were suffered during the altercation.

The three suspects that are described as male of average height and thin build. All were wearing face coverings.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation, including any security or dash cam video from the area between the hours of 12:30 a.m. and 1:15 a.m. is asked to contact the 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2416
