Mercedes stolen in Oakville home invasion, police say

Police say a home in the area of Dundas Street West and Neyagawa Boulevard was broken into between 4:05 a.m. and 4:15 a.m.

Police are investigating an early morning home invasion that happened in Oakville on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024.

Police say a home in the area of Dundas Street West and Neyagawa Boulevard was broken into between 4:05 a.m. and 4:15 a.m.

Halton Police Media Relations Officer Jeff Dillon told reporters that the front door was forced open, setting off the security alarm while a resident was home.

Constable Dillon said Keys to the homeowner's Mercedes SUV were taken.

Police say the Mercedes SUV was taken from the driveway without any confrontations.

Police have not yet identified any suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.
