Police investigating store robbery leading to a stolen car

Halton Police are investigating a break and enter incident that took place in a commercial building in Oakville.

The incident, which took place on March 15, 2025 at approximately 6:40 a.m, involved a suspect who allegedly broke into a store near the area of Speers Road and York Street. 

According to police, the suspect(s) broke into the store by breaking a lock box attached to the store's door. The suspect then reportedly used the key to enter business. 

The suspect then allegedly stole keys to a vehicle parked in business's parking lot and stole the vehicle. A description of the vehicle has not been provided.

Police say one suspect was seen and is described as male, Black, 5'7" and has a thin build.

No arrests have been made, police say.
