Police search for four suspects following retail thefts in Oakville and Halton Hills

Halton police are trying to identify four suspects following three separate incidents of alleged retail theft which took place in Oakville and Halton Hills.

Halton police are searching for four suspects following three separate incidents of alleged retail theft which took place in Oakville and Halton Hills between April and June 2024.

The first incident took place in Oakville on April 26, 2024, at a Sport Chek located at 2460 Winston Churchill Boulevard.

Police say a male suspect entered the store and requested to see an Apple Watch and a set of Beats headphones with a combined value of $840.

When the cashier brought the items to the desk, the male was said to have distracted the employee by asking to see another item. When she went to retrieve it, the male allegedly left with the watch and headphones.

The suspect is described as a Middle Eastern male, 5'9", bald, wearing jeans, a black Adidas zip-up jacket, and black shoes.

Another incident also took place in Oakville at an LCBO, located at 251 Oak Walk Drive on June 27, 2024.

According to police, two male suspects entered the store at approximately 8:10 p.m. and selected over $3,000 worth of products, which they concealed in their backpacks before leaving the store without paying. 

Police say both suspects are believed to belong to a group of organized thieves targeting LCBO stores throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

The suspects are described as: 

Suspect 1:  Male, 30 – 40 years old, 5’8”, medium build, short, brown hair, beard, wearing sunglasses, jogging pants, and white shoes.

Suspect 2:  Male, 30 – 40 years old, 5’8”, medium build, short, brown hair, beard, wearing a black coat, and white running shoes.

The last incident police have provided details on took place on June 5, 2024, at the Toronto Premium Outlets in Halton Hills.

Police allege that at approximately 4:40 p.m., a male suspect entered the Saint Laurent store, selected a pair of brown suede high-heel sandals valued at $845, and left the store without making any attempt to pay.

The suspect is described as a male, 30-40 years old, 5'8", with a medium build, short brown hair, a beard, wearing sunglasses, jogging pants, and white shoes.
