Six suspects wanted for retail thefts in Halton, police say

Police are seeking six suspects in connection with multiple alleged retail thefts at LCBO locations in Oakville and Burlington, as well as at the Toronto Premium Outlets.

Police are seeking six suspects in connection with multiple alleged retail thefts at LCBO locations in Oakville and Burlington, as well as at the Toronto Premium Outlets.

On April 12, 2024, at 12:33 p.m., police say a male suspect entered the LCBO at 1235 Plains Road in Burlington. The suspect is alleged to have selected multiple items and concealed them in his coat.

Police say the suspect exited the store without making any attempt to pay.

The suspect is described as male, 50-60 years old, grey short hair, grey stubble, grey goatee, blue jeans, dark jacket, Blue Jays baseball cap, and light blue running shoes as seen below:

The second incident took place on May 3, 2024, at 3:48 p.m. when police say a male suspect entered the LCBO at 501 Appleby Line in Burlington.

Police say the suspect selected products from the display and placed them into a shopping basket. Police allege that when the man had begun walking toward the exit, he was advised that he had to pay for the products, but continued to exit making no attempt to pay.

The suspect was seen getting into a grey SUV, though no particular make, model or license plate was obtained.

The suspect is described as male, white, 5'5", small build, 40-50 years old, with short hair and a beard, wearing black/white shoes, a black hat with "Region of Peel" written on it, a black sweater, and dark green jacket.

Police allege that the suspect is also responsible for other thefts in neighbouring jurisdictions.

The third incident happened on May 14, 2024, at approximately 4:29 p.m., when police say a male and female suspect entered the LCBO located at 321 Cornwall Road in Oakville.

The female suspect allegedly selected products from the display and concealed them in her purse and jacket, while the male suspect selected products and allegedly concealed them in his side bag and jacket pockets.

Police say the suspects then passed all points of sale, making no attempt to pay for the items.

Police also allege that these suspects are responsible for other thefts in neighbouring jurisdictions.

The first suspect is described as a female, black, 25-30 years old, small build, 5'6", brown eyes, long dreads hairstyle, wearing white tights, white top inside a faded, black, short jean jacket with silver buttons on the front, white runners and a black baseball cap.

The second suspect is described as male, black, 30-40 years old, medium build, 5'9", brown eyes, black hair, moustache and beard, wearing black rain-jacket-type with hood, light-blue jeans, dark-grey shirt inside with hexagon pattern, white and black lace Jordan-type runners, carrying a black side bag.

The final incident took place on June 8, 2024, at approximately 6:00 p.m., when two male suspects were observed entering the Ralph Lauren at the Toronto Premium Outlet using the main menswear entrance/exit.

Both suspects allegedly selected a significant number of various men’s, women’s, and children’s wear items before proceeding to immediately conceal all of their selections in a brown paper shopping bag. Once items were concealed, police say both suspects proceeded directly to the front of the store and were observed exiting the premises using the main menswear entrance/exit, making no attempt to pay for the concealed merchandise.

The first suspect is described as male, 40-45 years of age, 165-185 lbs, 5'10" - 6'0" in height, short, dark-brown hair, wearing a grey t-shirt, denim pants, black shoes with white soles, and carrying a large, brown, paper shopping bag.

The second suspect is described as male, 50-55 years of age, 200-215 lbs, 5'10" - 6'0" in height, white and dark brown facial hair, wearing a watch with a white strap, black ball cap, black vest with a black t-shirt on underneath, black pants, and black shoes with white soles.
