Suspicious death still under investigation in Oakville

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) Major Crime Bureau is investigating a suspicious death Saturday evening in Oakville.

Police say at around 5:30 p.m. they were contacted after a deceased adult male was located in a building near Lakeshore Road East and Navy Street.

Police have not made any arrests and do not have any suspect descriptions to provide.

Lakeshore Road East is closed between Navy Street and Thomas Street as police continue to investigate.

The closure is expected to remain in place until Sunday morning, police said in a news release.

Anyone who may have dash cam footage of Lakeshore Road East between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. is asked to contact police.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation was being asked to contact the Major Crime Bureau at 905-825-4776.
