This Saturday kicks off Autumn Harvest in Downtown Oakville. Every Saturday from October 3-31st there is no need to leave town to experience the season, it’s all here, in Downtown Oakville. On Saturdays from 1-4 p.m. there will be hayrides, free drop in crafts, fall themed photo competition through social media, in-store activities and fall decorations throughout the downtown.
“It’s the perfect time to come downtown and experience the season,” said Sharlene Plewman, executive director Downtown Oakville BIA. “For a lot of people, including myself, autumn is their favourite season: the clothes, fall flavoured foods, the changing leaves and the time you get to spend with your family. Downtown Oakville is the perfect place to experience all of these fall favourites.”
In addition to the hayrides and drop in crafts happening in Towne Square there are also activities, workshops and special offers from participating downtown businesses:
Visit Kensington Kitchen and Bath (104 Reynolds St.) for fall and Halloween themed stories and treats every Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
