Foodies Rejoice! On July 7, 2016 the Pusateri’s Fine Food opened its long awaited store in Oakville Place with a line up of customers eagerly waiting at the door. The store lived up to the hype, with stunning food displays in a posh space. Pusateri’s has been providing it’s customers with a gourmet experience for the past 50 years, and the family is still at the wheel. They know what they are doing.
In 1966 the Pusateri family opened its first store on Avenue Road in Toronto. More recently they have joined forces with Saks Fifth Avenue to provide Saks' customers with a high quality food purveyor. Unfortunately, their flag ship store on Avenue Road burned down, but is planned to reopen in the fall. With the Oakville Store, Pusateri's now operates four locations with two under construction. The Oakville store covers 18,500 square feet making it one of the largest, and is the first to be situated outside of the city.
The location features Pusateri’s fresh food departments, premium grocery and gourmet prepared foods, as well as a number of new in-store experiences. The store will feature a shop-in-shop from Canada’s leading cold-pressed juice company, Greenhouse Juice, offering raw 100% organic juices and Pizza Couture, offering classic Roman-style pizza al taglio (by the slice).
The Pizza Couture, the café and store do provide take out. You can eat just inside the mall at the entrance to the store. Hopefully, this space will be expanded to include more seating, since it can be hard to find a seat.
If you are looking for a particular ingredient or cut of meat, you’ll find it at Pusateri’s. Prices for unique high quality items are expensive, but you are paying for top quality products. For items available at other locations such as milk, eggs, orange juice they are priced competitively, and there are a few deals if you pay attention.

From a community perspective Pusateri's has hired a 100 new employees, and is already supporting local events. Oakville Place was chosen for its easy access off the highway, and ample free parking. For Oakville Place, which has been under renovation, Pusateri's brings in a quality shopper that appreciates the good things in life who can afford to pay for them.
