UPDATE: Vendors will be setting up in the lower southwest parking lot, outside of The Bay, as opposed to the lower southeast parking lot, across from Sears, where we have been in the past and as stated in the Press Release you received earlier this week. This is due to parking lot maintenance that will be taking place over the next while.

The first of two Farmers’ Markets held at Oakville Place Shopping Centre will open for the season this Saturday, June 7. On June 19, a second weekly market, held each Thursday, will open.
Local food growers and producers will set-up in the southeast parking lot of Oakville Place Shopping Centre, across from the Sears store, to bring commuters and area residents a twice-weekly supply of the freshest produce grown in Ontario.
In addition to the vast selection of local fruit and vegetables, market-goers can also shop for additional Ontario produced food items including deli meats, Ontario lamb, cheese, maple syrup, prepared foods and a delicious collection of baked goods that includes gluten-free items. Additional vendors will have soap, aromatherapy products and seasonal cut flowers for sale.
Market hours on both days are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., ‘rain or shine’.
There is a different collection of vendors on both market days making each a unique shopping experience.
