The Fate of Food: Oakville Food Lover

Do you ever stop to think about the corruption of the human race? Because most of us don't even have the time to make oatmeal in the morning before heading to work, society introduces us to oatmeal "on-the-go." Soon we find ourselves multi-tasking on the way to work... at work... on the way home from work... even when we're out with our friends, so I'm a little taken aback that we haven't adopted multi-tasking during our sleep.

We overindulge with what we are given. The old-fashioned forms of communication, such as handwriting letters to friends, have been swept under the rug and replaced with sending one-word text messages to friends. This leads me to wonder if making the effort to find good restaurants at which to dine will soon become tedious work? Despite how the growth of society has dampened our lifestyles, we accommodate the changes. So here is a new concept that aids our busy lives AND empty stomachs. It's called Dishcrawl.

We all have heard of pubcrawls - a nice night out with our friends drinking until the break of dawn. Little did we know, our livers can only take so much damage in one night. So why not replace the alcohol with the next best thing? FOOD, because we can all agree that food brings people together and I believe that society is ready for this!

I am hosting the first Dishcrawl event in the city of Oakville on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. This event is launching in less than a week! We visit FOUR restaurants in one night so it's a great time for you to mingle and to share your passion for food. You get to meet the chefs and owners behind the establishments while tasting featured sample dishes... Need I say more? My mouth is already watering so come get your tickets!

Event information and ticket purchases can be accessed at DISHCRAWL

Oh, and P.S. If you type in "dishing29" as a promo code, you get $5.00 off the regular ticket price. ;)
