On Sunday September 27th 2015 police responded to a residence on Rimmington Drive in the River Oaks Community of Oakville for a report of a robbery. Rimmington Drive is just west of 6th Line and north of Munn’s Avenue adjacent to Munn’s Creek Park.

At approximately 1:25 PM, three black males forced their way into the residence and demanded cash and jewelry from the occupants. During the incident one male occupant was punched by the suspects and sustained minor injuries.

The suspects left the area in two vehicles prior to Halton Regional Police’s arrival. It is believed that there was an additional suspect outside waiting in one of the vehicles.

All four suspects are described as being black males in their mid to late 20s.

The suspect vehicles are described as being a 2 Door Silver Honda Civic and a Brown Chevrolet Astro Van.

Investigators believe the victims in this matter were targeted and are checking any available video surveillance in the area to establish more information on the suspects and the vehicles used during this incident.

    Makes me nervous to Stay home alone now! Wont be doing that for a while.

    Don’t be so naive people, I wouldn’t worry. Obviously more to the story, the person living in that house was likely involved in something shady. Think about it, that area in Oakville and that style of house does not scream out to robbers cash and Jewelry inside. Likely busted in the house looking for drugs and money. Those robbers did not randomly pick that house.
